Private One-on-One Coaching:

One-on-one coaching sessions can help when your pet may be too stressed or distracted to attend group classes.  I will come to your house and work with you and your dog.  This best fits dogs that have had training and need help reinforcing a behaviour.   

 

Cost $100 includes:

• 60 min session (Assess your dog, develop a training plan and practice).
• All family members can participate.
• $100 thereafter for 1 hour session.
• Travel fee may apply.

Puppy One-on-One Training Package:

This package is developed to work with basic behaviors, such as Sit, Stay, Wait, Focus, Leave it, Drop it, Down, Come when called, Place, and loose leash walking. We keep this light and fun with a couple of games to play with your dog!

Cost $500 includes:

• 5 x 1 hour focused sessions.
• Travel fee may apply.

Training Classes

Looking for dog training classes that are respectful, stress-free and fun? Local classes are offered at the Dog Spot in Grimsby.  Class sizes are small and focused to provide one-on-one coaching, as well as much needed socialization opportunities.  For information on available courses and schedule please click on the button below.

Health & Vaccination Requirements

For all participants, safety during one-on-one training or in a group setting is important. Dogs MUST be healthy and free of contagious diseases such as ticks, fleas and worms. Dogs should not have any symptoms of potential illness, including diarrhea, coughing, sneezing, vomiting, or discharge out of noses. Please notify Tammy from Strong Paws as soon as possible if your dog becomes ill. 

Dog handlers must bring a vet records first day of training to show that your pet has:

1. Distemper

2. Bordetella

3. Rabies

 

Cancellations, Refunds and Make-up Sessions

• Payment is paid in full before the one-on-one starts. 
• No refunds once training sessions have begun.
• If a refund is given it will be minus $25 for administration fee.
• Strong Paws reserves the right to reschedule training due to weather or other circumstances.  The handler will be notified via phone, text, and/or email. 
• Cancellation of a one-on-one must be within 24hr in order to receive a make-up session. If canceled within the 24hr before one-on-one, that time is considered a used session.
